30. AHAB the son of Omri did that which was evil in The LORD's sight above all that were before him.

31. As if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, he took as wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshiped him.

32. He raised up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.

33. AHAB made the Asherah; and AHAB did more yet to provoke The LORD, the God of Israel, to anger than all the kings of Israel who were before him.

18. He answered, "I have not troubled Israel; but you, and your father's house, in that you have forsaken The LORD's commandments, and you have followed the Baals.

19. Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel to Mount Carmel, and four hundred fifty of the prophets of Baal, and four hundred of the prophets of the Asherah, who eat at Jezebel's table."

25. But there was no one like AHAB, who sold himself to do that which was evil in The LORD's sight, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.

26. He did very abominably in following idols, according to all that the Amorites did, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
