24. Then the LORD rained on Sodom and on GOMORRAH sulfur and fire from the LORD out of the sky.

25. He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew on the ground.

26. But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

27. Abraham got up early in the morning to the place where he had stood before The LORD.

28. He looked toward Sodom and GOMORRAH, and toward all the land of the plain, and looked, and saw that the smoke of the land went up as the smoke of a furnace.

and that all of its land is sulfur, salt, and burning, that it is not sown, doesn't produce, nor does any grass grow in it, like the overthrow of Sodom, GOMORRAH, Admah, and Zeboiim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath;

For their vine is of the vine of Sodom,of the fields of GOMORRAH.Their grapes are poison grapes.Their clusters are bitter.

9. Unless the LORD of Hosts had left to us a very small remnant,we would have been as Sodom;we would have been like GOMORRAH.

10. Hear The LORD's word, you rulers of Sodom!Listen to the law of our God, you people of GOMORRAH!

Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldeans' pride, will be like when God overthrew Sodom and GOMORRAH.

In the prophets of Jerusalem I have also seen a horrible thing:they commit adultery and walk in lies.They strengthen the hands of evildoers,so that no one returns from his wickedness.They have all become to me as Sodom,and its inhabitants as GOMORRAH."
