3. He did that which was right in The LORD's eyes, according to all that David his father had done.

4. He removed the high places, and broke the pillars, and cut down the Asherah. He also broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made, because in those days the children of Israel burned incense to it; and he called it Nehushtan.

5. He trusted in The LORD, the God of Israel; so that after him was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, nor among them that were before him.

6. For he joined with The LORD. He didn't depart from following him, but kept his commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses.

He did that which was right in The LORD's eyes, according to all that David his father had done.

20. HEZEKIAH did so throughout all Judah; and he did that which was good, right, and faithful before the LORD his God.

21. In every work that he began in the service of God's house, in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.

Now the rest of the acts of HEZEKIAH, and his good deeds, behold, they are written in the vision of Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz, in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.

Did HEZEKIAH king of Judah and all Judah put him to death? Didn't he fear The LORD, and entreat the favor of The LORD, and the LORD relented of the disaster which he had pronounced against them? We would commit great evil against our own souls that way!"
