JEREMIAH, 5. The prophet
Jeremiah 21:1-2
1. The word which came to JEREMIAH from The LORD, when king Zedekiah sent to him Pashhur the son of Malchijah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, saying,
2. "Please inquire of the LORD for us; for Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon makes war against us. Perhaps the LORD will deal with us according to all his wondrous works, that he may withdraw from us."
Jeremiah 37:3
Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, to the prophet JEREMIAH, saying, "Pray now to the LORD our God for us."
Jeremiah 38:14
Then Zedekiah the king sent and took JEREMIAH the prophet to himself into the third entry that is in The LORD's house. Then the king said to JEREMIAH, "I will ask you something. Hide nothing from me."
