SARAH, 1. Also called SARAI
4. He went in to Hagar, and she conceived. When she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.
5. Sarai said to Abram, "This wrong is your fault. I gave my servant into your bosom, and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes. the LORD judge between me and you."
6. But Abram said to Sarai, "Behold, your maid is in your hand. Do to her whatever is good in your eyes." Sarai dealt harshly with her, and she fled from her face.
9. SARAH saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, mocking.
10. Therefore she said to Abraham, "Cast out this servant and her son! For the son of this servant will not be heir with my son, Isaac."
12. God said to Abraham, "Don't let it be grievous in your sight because of the boy, and because of your servant. In all that
SARAH says to you, listen to her voice. For your
offspring will be accounted as from Isaac.
14. Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread and a bottle of water, and gave it to Hagar, putting it on her shoulder; and gave her the child, and sent her away. She departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.
