31. When they had mocked him, they took the robe off of him, and put his clothes on him, and led him away to crucify him.

32. As they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name, and they compelled him to go with them, that he might carry his cross.

33. When they came to a place called "Golgotha", that is to say, "The place of a skull,"

34. they gave him sour wine to drink mixed with gall. When he had tasted it, he would not drink.

20. When they had mocked him, they took the purple off of him, and put his own garments on him. They led him out to crucify him.

21. They compelled one passing by, coming from the country, Simon of Cyrene, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to go with them, that he might bear his cross.

22. They brought him to the place called Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, "The place of a skull."

23. They offered him wine mixed with myrrh to drink, but he didn't take it.

26. When they led him away, they grabbed one Simon of Cyrene, coming from the country, and laid on him the cross, to carry it after JESUS.

27. A great multitude of the people followed him, including women who also mourned and lamented him.

28. But JESUS, turning to them, said,"Daughters of Jerusalem, don't weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.

29. For behold, the days are coming in which they will say, 'Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never nursed.'

30. Then they will begin to tell the mountains, 'Fall on us!' and tell the hills, 'Cover us.'Hosea 10:8

31. For if they do these things in the green tree, what will be done in the dry?"

32. There were also others, two criminals, led with him to be put to death.

16. So then he delivered him to them to be crucified. So they took JESUS and led him away.

17. He went out, bearing his cross, to the place called "The Place of a Skull", which is called in Hebrew, "Golgotha",
