I will tell of the decree.The LORD said to me, "You are my son.Today I have become your father.

26. He will call to me, 'You are my Father,my God, and the rock of my salvation!'

27. I will also appoint him my firstborn,the highest of the kings of the earth.

Behold, a voice out of the heavens said, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased."

3. The tempter came and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread."

4. But he answered,"It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.'"Deuteronomy 8:3

5. Then the devil took him into the holy city. He set him on the pinnacle of the temple,

6. and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, 'He will put his angels in charge of you.' and,'On their hands they will bear you up,so that you don't dash your foot against a stone.'"Psalm 91:11-12

He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives him who sent me.

All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows the Son, except the Father; neither does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and he to whom the Son desires to reveal him.

Those who were in the boat came and worshiped him, saying, "You are truly the Son of God!"
