14. He said, "No; but I have come now as commander of The LORD's army."Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and worshiped, and asked him, "What does my lord say to his servant?"

15. The prince of The LORD's army said to Joshua, "Take your shoes off of your feet; for the place on which you stand is holy." Joshua did so.

11. So the king will desire your beauty,honor him, for he is your lord.

12. The daughter of Tyre comes with a gift.The rich among the people entreat your favor.

13. The princess inside is all glorious.Her clothing is interwoven with gold.

14. She shall be led to the king in embroidered work.The virgins, her companions who follow her, shall be brought to you.

15. With gladness and rejoicing they shall be led.They shall enter into the king's palace.

16. Your sons will take the place of your fathers.You shall make them princes in all the earth.

17. I will make your name to be remembered in all generations.Therefore the peoples shall give you thanks forever and ever.

They shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba.Men shall pray for him continually.They shall bless him all day long.

2. "Where is he who is born King of the Jews? For we saw his star in the east, and have come to worship him."

3. When King Herod heard it, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

4. Gathering together all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he asked them where the Christ would be born.

5. They said to him, "In Bethlehem of Judea, for this is written through the prophet,

6. 'You Bethlehem, land of Judah,are in no way least among the princes of Judah:for out of you shall come a governor,who shall shepherd my people, Israel.'"Micah 5:2

7. Then Herod secretly called the wise men, and learned from them exactly what time the star appeared.

8. He sent them to Bethlehem, and said, "Go and search diligently for the young child. When you have found him, bring me word, so that I also may come and worship him."

9. They, having heard the king, went their way; and behold, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, until it came and stood over where the young child was.

10. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy.

11. They came into the house and saw the young child with Mary, his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Opening their treasures, they offered to him gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

While he told these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped him, saying, "My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live."

Those who were in the boat came and worshiped him, saying, "You are truly the Son of God!"
