For these things happened, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, "A bone of him will not be broken."Exodus 12:46; Numbers 9:12; Psalm 34:20
These are the numbers of the heads of those who were armed for war, who came to David to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to The LORD's word.
The LORD your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you will possess it. He will do you good, and increase your numbers more than your fathers.
"Again you have heard that it was said to them of old time, 'You shall not make false vows, but shall perform to the Lord your vows,'Numbers 30:2; Deuteronomy 23:21; Ecclesiastes 5:4
So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the Passover to The LORD, the God of Israel, at Jerusalem, for they had not kept it in great numbers in the way it is written.

and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him as righteousness"; and he was called the friend of God.Genesis 15:6
As it is written, "I have made you a father of many nations." This is in the presence of him whom he believed: God, who gives life to the dead, and calls the things that are not, as though they were.Genesis 17:5
The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the Good News beforehand to Abraham, saying, "In you all the nations will be blessed."Genesis 12:3; 18:18; 22:18
So also it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.Genesis 2:7
He answered,"Haven't you read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female,Genesis 1:27
Besides hope, Abraham in hope believed, to the end that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, "So will your offspring be."Genesis 15:5
However what does the Scripture say? "Throw out the servant and her son, for the son of the servant will not inherit with the son of the free woman."Genesis 21:10
Neither, because they are Abraham's offspring, are they all children. But, "your offspring will be accounted as from Isaac."Genesis 21:12
seeing it is God who said, "Light will shine out of darkness," who has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.Genesis 1:3

Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his
offspring. He doesn't say, "To
descendants", as of many, but as of one, "To your
offspring", which is Christ.Genesis 12:7; 13:15; 24:7
