When the LORD spoke at first by Hosea, the LORD said to Hosea, "Go, take for yourself a wife of prostitution and children of unfaithfulness; for the land commits great adultery, forsaking The LORD."

As he says also in Hosea,"I will call them 'my people,' which were not my people;and her 'beloved,' who was not beloved."Hosea 2:23

The LORD' s word that came to Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.

and was there until the death of Herod; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, "Out of Egypt I called my son."Hosea 11:1

But you go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,'Hosea 6:6for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

But if you had known what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,'Hosea 6:6you would not have condemned the guiltless.

Then they will begin to tell the mountains, 'Fall on us!' and tell the hills, 'Cover us.'Hosea 10:8

"It will be that in the place where it was said to them, 'You are not my people,'There they will be called 'children of the living God.'"Hosea 1:10

"Death, where is your sting?Hades, where is your victory?"compare Hosea 13:14

He answered,"Haven't you read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female,Genesis 1:27

and said, 'For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh?'Genesis 2:24

But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female.Genesis 1:27

and the two will become one flesh,Genesis 2:24so that they are no longer two, but one flesh.

You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, 'In your offspring will all the families of the earth be blessed.'Genesis 22:18; 26:4

and said to him, 'Get out of your land, and from your relatives, and come into a land which I will show you.'Genesis 12:1

'I will judge the nation to which they will be in bondage,' said God, 'and after that will they come out, and serve me in this place.'Genesis 15:13-14

For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness."Genesis 15:6

As it is written, "I have made you a father of many nations." This is in the presence of him whom he believed: God, who gives life to the dead, and calls the things that are not, as though they were.Genesis 17:5

Besides hope, Abraham in hope believed, to the end that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, "So will your offspring be."Genesis 15:5

Therefore it also was "credited to him for righteousness."Genesis 15:6

Neither, because they are Abraham's offspring, are they all children. But, "your offspring will be accounted as from Isaac."Genesis 21:12

For this is a word of promise, "At the appointed time I will come, and Sarah will have a son."Genesis 18:10,14

it was said to her, "The elder will serve the younger."Genesis 25:23

Or don't you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body? For, "The two", he says, "will become one flesh."Genesis 2:24

So also it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.Genesis 2:7

seeing it is God who said, "Light will shine out of darkness," who has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.Genesis 1:3

The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the Good News beforehand to Abraham, saying, "In you all the nations will be blessed."Genesis 12:3; 18:18; 22:18

Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his offspring. He doesn't say, "To descendants", as of many, but as of one, "To your offspring", which is Christ.Genesis 12:7; 13:15; 24:7

However what does the Scripture say? "Throw out the servant and her son, for the son of the servant will not inherit with the son of the free woman."Genesis 21:10

"For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh."Genesis 2:24

For he has said this somewhere about the seventh day, "God rested on the seventh day from all his works";Genesis 2:2

saying, "Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you."Genesis 22:17

to whom it was said, "your offspring will be accounted as from Isaac";Genesis 21:12

and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him as righteousness"; and he was called the friend of God.Genesis 15:6
