When the LORD spoke at first by Hosea, the LORD said to Hosea, "Go, take for yourself a wife of prostitution and children of unfaithfulness; for the land commits great adultery, forsaking The LORD."

As he says also in Hosea,"I will call them 'my people,' which were not my people;and her 'beloved,' who was not beloved."Hosea 2:23

Then they will begin to tell the mountains, 'Fall on us!' and tell the hills, 'Cover us.'Hosea 10:8

"Death, where is your sting?Hades, where is your victory?"compare Hosea 13:14

"It will be that in the place where it was said to them, 'You are not my people,'There they will be called 'children of the living God.'"Hosea 1:10

But if you had known what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,'Hosea 6:6you would not have condemned the guiltless.

and was there until the death of Herod; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, "Out of Egypt I called my son."Hosea 11:1

For indeed, I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews, and here also I have done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon."

Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the offspring of Abraham? So am I.

He went out the second day, and behold, two men of the Hebrews were fighting with each other. He said to him who did the wrong, "Why do you strike your fellow?"

Be strong, and behave like men, O you Philistines, that you not be servants to the Hebrews, as they have been to you. Strengthen yourselves like men, and fight!"

Now in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, a complaint arose from the Hellenists against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily service.

Both of them revealed themselves to the garrison of the Philistines: and the Philistines said, "Behold, the Hebrews are coming out of the holes where they had hidden themselves!"

The LORD said to Moses, "Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and tell him, 'This is what The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: "Let my people go, that they may serve me.

Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go in to Pharaoh, and tell him, 'This is what The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: "Let my people go, that they may serve me.

They will listen to your voice, and you shall come, you and the elders of Israel, to the king of Egypt, and you shall tell him, 'The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Now please let us go three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to The LORD, our God.'

Jonathan struck the garrison of the Philistines that was in Geba, and the Philistines heard of it. Saul blew the trumpet throughout all the land, saying, "Let the Hebrews hear!"

The LORD' s word that came to Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.

Then the princes of the Philistines said, "What about these Hebrews?"Achish said to the princes of the Philistines, "Isn't this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, who has been with me these days, or rather these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell away to today?"

They served him by himself, and them by themselves, and the Egyptians, that ate with him, by themselves, because the Egyptians don't eat bread with the Hebrews, for that is an abomination to the Egyptians.

When the Philistines heard the noise of the shout, they said, "What does the noise of this great shout in the camp of the Hebrews mean?" They understood that The LORD's ark had come into the camp.
