He said, "I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, 'Make straight the way of the Lord,' as Isaiah the prophet said."Isaiah 40:3

But they didn't all listen to the glad news. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?"Isaiah 53:1

As Isaiah has said before,"Unless the Lord of Armies had left us a seed,we would have become like Sodom,and would have been made like Gomorrah."Isaiah 1:9

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, "He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases."Isaiah 53:4

The multitude answered him, "We have heard out of the law that the Christ remains forever. How do you say,Isaiah 9:7; Daniel 2:44 (but see also Isaiah 53:8)'The Son of Man must be lifted up?' Who is this Son of Man?"

For the Scripture says, "You shall not muzzle the ox when it treads out the grain." And,Deuteronomy 25:4"The laborer is worthy of his wages."Luke 10:7; Leviticus 19:13

Isaiah said these things when he saw his glory, and spoke of him.Isaiah 6:1

the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear,Isaiah 35:5the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them.Isaiah 61:1-4

For this is he who was spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying,"The voice of one crying in the wilderness,make ready the way of the Lord.Make his paths straight."Isaiah 40:3

that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke,"Lord, who has believed our report?To whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?"Isaiah 53:1

For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."Matthew 17:5; Mark 9:7; Luke 9:35

Again, Isaiah says,"There will be the root of Jesse,he who arises to rule over the Gentiles;in him the Gentiles will hope."Isaiah 11:10

Isaiah is very bold, and says,"I was found by those who didn't seek me.I was revealed to those who didn't ask for me."Isaiah 65:1

For this cause they couldn't believe, for Isaiah said again,

In his name, the nations will hope."Isaiah 42:1-4

All flesh will see God's salvation.'"Isaiah 40:3-5

You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,

The way of peace, they haven't known."Isaiah 59:7-8

Then The LORD's word came to Isaiah, saying,

The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw.

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying,

who did not sin, "neither was deceit found in his mouth."Isaiah 53:9

Blessed are those who mourn,for they shall be comforted.Isaiah 61:2; 66:10,13

For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed."Isaiah 28:16

This is my covenant to them,when I will take away their sins."Isaiah 59:20-21; 27:9; Jeremiah 31:33-34

This is what Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

For "the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you," just as it is written.Isaiah 52:5; Ezekiel 36:22

Didn't my hand make all these things?'Isaiah 66:1-2

and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."Isaiah 61:1-2

Therefore the Father loves me, because I lay down my life,Isaiah 53:7-8that I may take it again.

'where their worm doesn't die, and the fire is not quenched.'Isaiah 66:24

Again, "I will put my trust in him." Again, "Behold, here I am with the children whom God has given me."Isaiah 8:17Isaiah 8:18

Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Hear The LORD's word.

But, as it is written,"They will see, to whom no news of him came.They who haven't heard will understand."Isaiah 52:15

the stars will be falling from the sky, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken.Isaiah 13:10; 34:4

He was returning and sitting in his chariot, and was reading the prophet Isaiah.

But they worship me in vain,teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.'Isaiah 29:13

Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Hear the word of the LORD of Hosts:

Before Isaiah had gone out into the middle part of the city, The LORD's word came to him, saying,

Isaiah said, "Take a cake of figs."They took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.

Now Isaiah had said, "Let them take a cake of figs, and lay it for a poultice on the boil, and he shall recover."

"Blessed are the poor in spirit,for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.Isaiah 57:15; 66:2

Therefore lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees,Isaiah 35:3

In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says,'By hearing you will hear,and will in no way understand;Seeing you will see,and will in no way perceive:

He said,"To you it is given to know the mysteries of God's Kingdom, but to the rest in parables; that 'seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.'Isaiah 6:9

For it is written,"'As I live,' says the Lord, 'to me every knee will bow.Every tongue will confess to God.'"Isaiah 45:23

For I tell you that this which is written must still be fulfilled in me: 'He was counted with transgressors.'Isaiah 53:12For that which concerns me has an end."

Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first and last, Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, wrote.

In his humiliation, his judgment was taken away.Who will declare His generation?For his life is taken from the earth."Isaiah 53:7,8

And in vain do they worship me,teaching as doctrine rules made by men.'"Isaiah 29:13

I have other sheep, which are not of this fold.Isaiah 56:8I must bring them also, and they will hear my voice. They will become one flock with one shepherd.

But as to Israel he says, "All day long I stretched out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people."Isaiah 65:2

For it is written,"I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,I will bring the discernment of the discerning to nothing."Isaiah 29:14

It is written in the prophets, 'They will all be taught by God.'Isaiah 54:13Therefore everyone who hears from the Father, and has learned, comes to me.

Hezekiah the king and Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz, prayed because of this, and cried to heaven.

that 'seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest perhaps they should turn again, and their sins should be forgiven them.'"Isaiah 6:9-10

Therefore"'Come out from among them,and be separate,' says the Lord.'Touch no unclean thing.I will receive you.Isaiah 52:11; Ezekiel 20:34,41

Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, "The LORD's word which you have spoken is good." He said moreover, "Isn't it so, if peace and truth will be in my days?"

Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, "The LORD's word which you have spoken is good." He said moreover, "For there will be peace and truth in my days."

According as it is written, "God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, to this very day."Deuteronomy 29:4; Isaiah 29:10

He answered them,"Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written,'This people honors me with their lips,but their heart is far from me.

Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, "The LORD, the God of Israel says, 'Because you have prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria,

"Behold, the virgin shall be with child,and shall give birth to a son.They shall call his name Immanuel";which is, being interpreted, "God with us."Isaiah 7:14

and he made us to be a Kingdom, priests to his God and Father; to him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.Exodus 19:6; Isaiah 61:6

In the law it is written, "By men of strange languages and by the lips of strangers I will speak to this people. Not even thus will they hear me, says the Lord."Isaiah 28:11-12

For so has the Lord commanded us, saying,'I have set you as a light for the Gentiles,that you should bring salvation to the uttermost parts of the earth.'"Isaiah 49:6

even as it is written,"Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and a rock of offense;and no one who believes in him will be disappointed."Isaiah 8:14; 28:16

Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, "The LORD, the God of Israel, says 'You have prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria, and I have heard you.

Isaiah said to them, "Tell your master this: 'The LORD says, "Don't be afraid of the words that you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

Isaiah the prophet cried to The LORD; and he brought the shadow ten steps backward, by which it had gone down on the sundial of Ahaz.

The LORD said, "As my servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and a wonder concerning Egypt and concerning Ethiopia,

"Concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he has spoken thus: 'I will give you the holy and sure blessings of David.'Isaiah 55:3

If I fought with animals at Ephesus for human purposes, what does it profit me? If the dead are not raised, then "let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die."Isaiah 22:13

Because it is contained in Scripture,"Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen, and precious:He who believes in him will not be disappointed."Isaiah 28:16

But when this perishable body will have become imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then what is written will happen: "Death is swallowed up in victory."Isaiah 25:8

For it is written,"Rejoice, you barren who don't bear.Break out and shout, you that don't travail.For more are the children of the desolate than of her who has a husband."Isaiah 54:1

He sent Eliakim, who was over the household, Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.

In those days Hezekiah was sick and dying. Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said to him, "The LORD says, 'Set your house in order; for you will die, and not live.'"

Then the LORD said to Isaiah, "Go out now to meet Ahaz, you, and Shearjashub your son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool, on the highway of the fuller's field.

He sent Eliakim, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz.

In those days was Hezekiah sick and near death. Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, came to him, and said to him, "The LORD says, 'Set your house in order, for you will die, and not live.'"

When they didn't agree among themselves, they departed after Paul had spoken one word, "The Holy Spirit spoke rightly through Isaiah, the prophet, to our fathers,

Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his good deeds, behold, they are written in the vision of Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz, in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.

saying to them,"It is written, 'My house is a house of prayer,'Isaiah 56:7but you have made it a 'den of robbers'!"Jeremiah 7:11

Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying,"I am the light of the world.Isaiah 60:1He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life."

Isaiah cries concerning Israel,"If the number of the children of Israel are as the sand of the sea,it is the remnant who will be saved;

The book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. He opened the book, and found the place where it was written,

But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. "Don't fear what they fear, neither be troubled."Isaiah 8:12

Then Isaiah the prophet came to king Hezekiah, and asked him, "What did these men say? Where did they come from to you?"Hezekiah said, "They have come from a country far from me, even from Babylon."

They answered him, "Are you also from Galilee? Search, and see that no prophet has arisen out of Galilee."See Isaiah 9:1 and Matthew 4:13-16.

the people who sat in darkness saw a great light,to those who sat in the region and shadow of death,to them light has dawned."Isaiah 9:1-2

He said to them,"It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer,'Isaiah 56:7but you have made it a den of robbers!"Jeremiah 7:11

but the Lord's word endures forever."Isaiah 40:6-8This is the word of Good News which was preached to you.

Then Isaiah the prophet came to king Hezekiah, and said to him, "What did these men say? From where did they come to you?"Hezekiah said, "They have come from a far country, even from Babylon."

Hezekiah said to Isaiah, "What will be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I will go up to The LORD's house the third day?"

Philip ran to him, and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, "Do you understand what you are reading?"

He taught, saying to them,"Isn't it written, 'My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations?'Isaiah 56:7But you have made it a den of robbers!"Jeremiah 7:11

The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed ask him who formed it, "Why did you make me like this?"Isaiah 29:16; 45:9

"For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him?" But we have Christ's mind.Isaiah 40:13

As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet,"The voice of one crying in the wilderness,'Make ready the way of the Lord.Make his paths straight.

But as it is written,"Things which an eye didn't see, and an ear didn't hear,which didn't enter into the heart of man,these God has prepared for those who love him."Isaiah 64:4

And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:"How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace,who bring glad tidings of good things!"Isaiah 52:7

Isaiah said, "This will be the sign to you from The LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he has spoken: should the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?"

"He has blinded their eyes and he hardened their heart,lest they should see with their eyes,and perceive with their heart,and would turn,and I would heal them."Isaiah 6:10

for He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness,because the LORD will make a short work upon the earth."Isaiah 10:22-23

I am the good shepherd.Isaiah 40:11; Ezekiel 34:11-12,15,22The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

For this people's heart has grown callous.Their ears are dull of hearing.Their eyes they have closed.Lest they should see with their eyes,hear with their ears,understand with their heart,and would turn again,and I would heal them.'Isaiah 6:9-10
