The LORD your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you will possess it. He will do you good, and increase your numbers more than your fathers.

These are the numbers of the heads of those who were armed for war, who came to David to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to The LORD's word.

So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the Passover to The LORD, the God of Israel, at Jerusalem, for they had not kept it in great numbers in the way it is written.

For these things happened, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, "A bone of him will not be broken."Exodus 12:46; Numbers 9:12; Psalm 34:20

David himself says in the book of Psalms,'The Lord said to my Lord,"Sit at my right hand,

He said to them,"This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled."

But this happened so that the word may be fulfilled which was written in their law, 'They hated me without a cause.'Psalms 35:19; 69:4

For it is written in the book of Psalms,'Let his habitation be made desolate.Let no one dwell therein;'Psalm 69:25and,'Let another take his office.'Psalm 109:8

They have all turned aside.They have together become unprofitable.There is no one who does good,no, not so much as one."Psalms 14:1-3; 53:1-3; Ecclesiastes 7:20

speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing, and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord.

For David himself said in the Holy Spirit,'The Lord said to my Lord,"Sit at my right hand,until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet."'Psalm 110:1

Then he said to another, 'How much do you owe?' He said, 'A hundred cors of wheat.' He said to him, 'Take your bill, and write eighty.'

As he says also in another place,"You are a priest forever,after the order of Melchizedek."Psalm 110:4

for it is testified,"You are a priest forever,according to the order of Melchizedek."Psalm 110:4

(for they indeed have been made priests without an oath), but he with an oath by him that says of him,"The Lord swore and will not change his mind,'You are a priest forever,according to the order of Melchizedek.'"Psalm 110:4
